When Dolly came home we were still surprised that we got a dog. But, there she was, a bundle of white fluff. It’s impossible to go and look at puppies, bring a box and come home empty handed. There were two puppies left, one took off into the farm yard and Dolly just hung around. I guess we didn’t mind the bits of chicken poop on her fur. She was part of a working family of sheep dogs and all of a sudden she was ours. Yes, by the time we got home we were in love.
